In honor of SDCC 2015, I’ve been thinking about all of my favorite comics/graphic novels and how I love discussing them with other readers and fans.

So many exciting films and television shows are on the horizon, but it is important that we not forget the great origins of these stories…the comics! The history and tradition of comics is as fascinating and captivating as any movie franchise, and as with most novel-to-film adaptations, the books are better (sorry, Marvel cough DISNEY).

Below is a 50 question SUPER QUIZ that I administered to college sophomores in my Graphic Novels: Lit Genres class. They took it at the end of the semester, and whoever scored highest received tickets to Age of Ultron.

I can’t promise you movie tickets for high scores, but if you know all of these answers, you BELONG at SDCC. And if you’re anything like me, you’re sitting at home, wishing you were there (in cosplay as Jareth from Labyrinth).
