I don’t think it’s our fault that we do it. It’s how our hearts were made, really. It’s how our hearts were molded and held. We were born to be givers. To be the ones with bigger hearts than most, that grow and grow without needing to be full.

You put your job over everything except your family and friends. You worked hard to get your career up and running. You worked really, really hard to get to where you are now. You aren’t going to let some man take that away from you.

Strong women need your support whether or not they show it. They need your listening ear, whether or not they ask for it. Strong women need to be cared for, no matter if they are sick or not. They need you. They need you to be there for them through all the good times and through all the hard times

Anxiety tells you that even your best friends hate you. It plagues your minds with paranoid thoughts that everyone is just pretending and they only hang out with you because they feel sorry for you.

I flee the moment before anything good can begin. I run the other direction when someone is interested me. I shut the door on any opportunity that I see. And I don’t know why.

Don’t fool your heart. Don’t give it anymore false hope or faith. It will only make the wounds grow bigger. It will only make the bruises go deeper. And it will only make the pain more powerful.

If the love that you had was real, you won’t ever forget it. You won’t forget the memories. You won’t forget him or her. You won’t forget how your heart felt. If the love you had was genuine and real, time won’t erase that.

We still love those who have broken us and who have betrayed us. And that doesn’t makes us weak. That doesn’t make us dumb. No, that makes us beautiful. That makes us strong. That makes us courageous.

Successful women are picky. Successful women have very high standards. We’ve been hurt in the past, so we know that we have to wait for someone who is absolutely right for us.

Your standards are sky high. You don’t date a lot of people, so when you do decide to date, it’s usually for a specific person. You don’t like to play the field, because you think it’s a waste of your time.

Even if you have the most beautiful and perfect day, you can’t help but pinpoint that tiny thing that happened that made it go awry. No matter how happy you are, or how much you have gotten done, you still stress over every little detail in your life that isn’t perfect or good enough for you.

You’re a follower, not a leader. You don’t like being the type of person that people follow, or take orders from. You like to go with the flow and follow suit what everyone else is doing.
