What I have to tell myself, over and over again, is that the inches of my waist are not directly proportional to my attractiveness to the opposite sex, my worthiness as a female, or ability to blow a man’s mind.

There are no wrong feelings.

Children are a part of who I am, and if I do not become a mother then I’ve done it wrong.

The battle isn’t won. There are still more men than women in the top spots of almost every profession.

You deserve love. You deserve a healthy, available, committed man who adores you exactly for who and what you are.

I think it’s brave to hope.

You’ll swap your collection for better ones, bigger ones, dreams worth more
until you complete the set you’ve been trying to finish since forever.

What you feel, that is growth.

In the back of my mind, I just can’t shake this feeling I have about her. I just keep wondering “What if…?”

It reminded me that we can’t be happy adults if we keep seeking parental permission like we’re still kids.

The thing about being your own biggest fan is that you’ve got to wrangle some pretty tough questions.

Be brave with your life so that other people might be brave with theirs. Set the standard. Make them marvel at you.

Every single thing you do, every single day: that is your story.

I am writing this post because I will not be silenced.

Whatever you do, don’t just leave. Don’t let it go. Fight for it. Commit to it.
