Most of us carry a measure of guilt for keeping a secret or telling a little white lie. However, when do our secrets go from casual to catastrophic?

There’s nothing wrong with optimism. It’s a beautiful concept that has gotten me through some dark circumstances. However, what never helped was friends and family and their “positive vibes only” attitudes.

As a society, we’ve been conditioned to believe that it’s normal to “not care” or to be the “cool girl.” We’re taught not to demand anything from people or have high standards, because if we do, we are viewed as needy. So, how exactly did we create a dating culture where we don’t value connections, but we swipe right?

I need calories to exist, and I don’t want to exist if there are calories.

Sometimes love stories are short stories, but that doesn’t mean there’s any less passion or kindness or love in those pages. 

So, my dear heart and soul, you find yourself without roots again. Yet you are everywhere.

Do pregnancies or children ruin your sex life? Well, the answer isn’t as simple as a yes or no.

You see, we haven’t always had an open and healthy relationship.

The absolute knowledge that I was loved remains with me.

If you’re happy with the status quo of dating, cool. I’m not. I’ve seen too many incredible people settle for less than what they want.

I think perhaps I am strong enough and I have decided to allow the inevitable to occur. 

When you encounter an issue that triggers your anxiety, ask yourself questions. Am I in imminent danger? Why is this triggering me? What am I really feeling in this moment?
