It’s a work in progress. Yet I know it’s going to happen. You won’t know it, nor will it affect you in any way. Yet, we are taught that forgiveness sets you free.

Can I even trust me? Can I speak for myself 5 years from now? 10? I don’t know what she will think or feel. I don’t know if she will still want the same things. I still trust she will want forever, because she always has.

Sometimes.

We paint them, reword them, rearrange the memories until they make a beautiful montage.

The ones who put in too much effort are the ones who have been doing it right this whole time, and we missed it.

You know, it’s rather amusing to think about; waiting for your future spouse. Waiting.
I’ve never been a patient human being. I see something, I like it, I want it, I go after it. I never really understood or placed much value in waiting for something.

This is for every person who second guesses if they should really pursue the thing they love, simply because job openings come few and far between.

In the midst of a recent conversation, we hit on the subject of people claiming they know what God has planned for their life, specifically who he has planned for them to marry. We questioned whether or not these people really know or if they are just spouting declarations to sound holier than the rest of us.

“Guard your heart.”

At some point in her life, a girl should experience having a group of just male only friends.

You think that being engaged feels the exact same as dating, just better. Problem is, it becomes infinitely more stressful.

This person is not obligated to spend the rest of their lives with you — in fact, they have the right to break off the relationship at any time… even tomorrow.
