Thank you for giving us advice and telling us what I deserve when we can’t seem to figure that out ourselves.

I can convince myself that it’s enough. But tomorrow, it won’t be.

And though it would be easy to find someone who is safe and comfortable, it would be easy to date someone who doesn’t scare you, a part of you knows, in the back of your mind, it would eat away at you.

I picture that sometimes we may wonder if we did the right thing by giving us a shot. We might second guess and think, “What if we had just let this go?”

You start to honestly want that place to call your own- the place that you know you can safely come back to and never worry that your time is up there.

Looking back on my life, my friends have been a consistent well of unconditional love for years.

We all go a little crazy when it comes to love and like and everything in between; love is a complicated emotion that we can’t always glide our way through with smirks and one liners.

I mean if I’m honest, I never loved someone as much as I loved you.

I’ve finally started to recognize the value of people who stay, and recognize that I deserve more than just a pop in every now and then.

When you’re the girl who loves more, you make promises for the both of you. You promise you’ll stick around through the hard times. You promise yourself that if you just try a little harder, they will recognize the wonderful things in you.

Something in me still thinks there might be magic between me and you, and that’s enough for me to send five letters, one message, this one night.

I’m waiting for someone who looks at me the way they look at something they find intriguing, interesting, and wonderful. I want someone to go the extra mile, not for attention, but simply because I want a love that calls for something like that. A relationship that consists of two people excited about life and excited about each other.
