Date Someone Who Makes You Want To Wake Up On Monday Morning
So to anyone out there who, like I once did, is feeling like this kind of love doesn't exist, I promise you, it does.

The first time I saw you, I knew I was in trouble. And not in some Taylor Swift-esque way. You weren’t some beautiful disaster. I didn’t look at you and think, “Now there’s a bad idea.”
I knew I was in trouble because, from that point on, I wouldn’t ever want to live a life that didn’t include you in it.
For a long time, I didn’t believe in love. At least for me. I thought some people end up in these amazing, romantic relationships. And some people, like me, are married to their careers. I figured that was okay. Love comes in different forms.
I didn’t need another person to complete me.
But when I met you, I finally understood what that saying meant. It’s not about me being an incomplete person or needing someone else to make me whole. It’s about meeting someone who magnifies all the good. Someone who makes life more beautiful and exciting. It’s taking the best of you and seeing it become even more wonderful.
You make waking up on Monday morning not just bearable, you make it enjoyable.
You make starting the week a joy, not just something I have to get through.
This is not to say we don’t struggle. I’m not saying we’re going to be happy every single moment.
But overall, everything is better just by having you in my life. You make me stronger. Not just as a couple, but individually. You push me to be the best person I can be, and I hope I do the same for you too.
So to anyone out there who, like I once did, is feeling like this kind of love doesn’t exist, I promise you, it does. Find someone who makes Monday morning feel like Friday night. Find someone who kisses you and loves you, and everything feels safe when they’re near. Find someone who sees your flaws and doesn’t ask you to change them.
You deserve it. I deserve it. We all do.
