To Have Complete Faith, You Must Learn To Let Go

There is comfort and beauty in believing that you can ask for something and knowing that it will be returned to you better than when it was taken away.

At some point in your life you have probably been left wondering, why? Why did this have to happen to me? Why did I have to go through something like this again? Why can’t things go the way I want them to go? And it’s okay to ask these things. No matter what you’ve been told, it’s okay to pray to God and ask why he has put you through something that has devastated your life yet again. But what is not okay, is to linger on those questions. It’s not okay to constantly remind yourself of the tragedy that happened.

To have complete faith in something, means you must let go. To have faith means you have spoken your peace and you are letting it be. There is comfort and beauty in believing that you can ask for something and knowing that it will be returned to you better than when it was taken away.

I know it hurts right now, and I know that all you want is to find answers. But, when you are stuck in your sorrow and your only thought is to find answers, you are only going to find more questions. It is true, faith is a hard thing to have. But remember, God promises to not hold anything back that is for your benefit or good. The thing that he has been taken away from you would have eventually stopped you from growing and becoming into the person you were always destined to become.

So yes, it is okay to mourn what you have lost. It is okay to ask those questions. But, it is your responsibility to have complete faith in Him and let the issue be, because God has heard your cries. God has heard your prayers, and he promises to make something good out of the storms that devastate your life.
