Don’t confuse this phrase with negativity, don’t look at it as a cop out or an excuse for poor behavior, because it’s not. It’s allowing yourself to be grounded in truth. It’s allowing yourself to understand that some things just are, that they cannot be altered. It’s acceptance.

An introvert wants you to have your own life, not solely a life of dependency on one another. They cherish their alone time, and thrive in their own space.

The most important thing we can do is accept where we’re at and trust where we’re going. Reflect on the past, live in the present, welcome the future.

If you’re doing the best you can, if you’re striving to be better than you were yesterday, you’re doing a great job.

The perpetually single girl isn’t devoid of love. On the contrary, she loves deeply and whole-heartedly, but has learned to protect herself from loving the wrong people.

Never again will I allow someone to love me on their own terms.

In the midst of the crazy that’s been happening lately, I worry that people are living by their politics too much and abandoning respect for their fellow humans.
