She is constantly in pain, constantly hurting. She chooses to not complain, not to burden, not to overshare. She does this because she knows that we are all struggling, that how we overcome is what makes us who we are.

Your birthday just passed and I wanted to write. I even started to, but then I stopped. Because although it felt like it in the beginning, life didn’t actually stop when you left, it went on.

Even if we have ideas of how we’d like our lives to go, goals we’d like to accomplish by a certain timeline, nothing can be set in stone because we are constantly evolving. We experience, we learn, we grow.

Let’s treat social media as it was intended to be.

What these challenges have proven to me day in and day out is that each day I wake up is a gift and a chance.

I can still taste your lips on mine, but what was once so sweet now just tastes like goodbye.

I finally realized that there’s a simple explanation for what I want… I just want a grown ass man. 

Because in order to thrive, you must move forward. And whomever you are moving forward without is someone you don’t need to have by your side.
