In my wildest dreams, we were together and the world was perfect.

So often we are figuring out ways to get ahead. Preparing for what comes next. Rarely are we ever still. But just imagine if we were. God says for us to be still.

Your person isn’t the person you’ve been chasing. It isn’t the one you have to convince to stay around. It isn’t the person that has turned your areas of black and white to grey.

You are a human being. You have a heart that beats for all things and a yearning for something good. They are not your something good.

Stop being so hard on yourself. Be more forgiving and gentle with your own heart.

He was your first taste of love. He was the first chapter in your book. He was bitter and sweet. He was your first set of standards and expectations, even when they fell short.

\This is my constant reminder, that there is no other place for me than right here, right now. There is no path that is better or greater.

I’m scared that people never really stay. I’m terrified that I’m going to lose you, while I’m still trying to figure out if I ever had you.

The age that I almost lost my courage and strength, but also the age where I found it. The age that changed everything.

To us, everything matters on a much bigger scale. Every relationship, every person, every conversation.

People don’t always get it. Why we don’t want to be a part of what’s going on, part of the rush. We’d rather just feel the rush from where we are.

He doesn’t want to see us fail any more than we want too. He wants to sculpt us and lead us to Him.

The days I wanted to quit. The days I said I was done. The days I wanted to turn around and run, far and fast.

We promised each other a future. A friendship that we would carry with us forever. We were the ones that always made it through. No matter the distance, the disagreements, or awkward tendencies. We made it through.

Don’t forget about the life you have, waiting for the one in your head.

I hope you let yourself feel something, anything. I hope you forgive the broken heart that’s trying so hard to beat again.

Take a pause in your life and recognize what you’re surrounded by. Love the people who have stuck with you, loved you, and encouraged you. Those are the people you must carry with you in your journey.

We don’t always notice the ones who need saving. Sometimes they’re the strong ones. The strongest person you may know. They wear the big smiles and carry the even bigger hearts.
