A Short Prayer To Trust God When You Feel Weak And Tired

By

Karin Hadadan’s prayer guides us to trust God’s power when our own strength runs thin. Similarly, Rebecca Simon’s Finding God Every Day shows how noticing Him in ordinary moments sustains us through weariness.

Our own strength eventually runs out, and that’s okay; it’s just a reminder that we need God. When we choose to stop pushing and start waiting on Him with faith, something shifts, and His strength begins to fill the gaps we couldn’t bridge on our own. If you’re feeling a bit weary today, pray this with me.

Dear God,

I am blessed to know that you will never abandon or forget me, that you are always ready to equip me with everything I need for each day’s journey. But God, I confess I have found myself relying solely on my own strength instead of leaning on you.

Feeling alone? He is always with you. Find comfort in this book.

In this season of weariness, I come to you for help—teach me to wait patiently and trust fully, to be active in my hope rather than passive in my wishing. I commit myself to your perfect timing and wisdom, knowing you see what I cannot. Thank you for the promise of renewed strength that enables me to soar when needed, run without growing weary, and walk faithfully without fainting.

Amen.
