Why I Hate The Sky
I feel rushed by the sun and relieved on cloudy days when I can stay inside and study without feeling anxious.

i feel rushed by the sun
and relieved on cloudy days
when i can stay inside and study
without feeling anxious
otherwise i feel compelled to chase
shadows, basically
until the shore
for sunset.
i do not understand why
in offices and public buildings
the blinds are pulled down always.
people squint and shroud their faces with their palms-
do they not realize?
time plummets
like shelves of glacial wall
speeding into terminals
of acid
the sky turns pink
for just a short time
the most amazing Hilighter colors…
relief too
is the night
which rises from behind
replacing her majesty
with fluorescent specs and sizzling,
the artificial canonization of architecture-
like psychology
or the inside of a computer.
