There’s so much that I want to do before I settle down. A lot of that I can do with a significant other, but really only if it’s a good fit. There’s a lot of the world I haven’t seen yet that I want to see.

When I was 20 years old, in the fall of 2014, I studied abroad in Scotland for three months.

You’re not sure if the signs have always been there, but one day you start to notice them. Being the kind of person who likes to give people the benefit of the doubt, you push those signs under the rug.

Travel gave me a sense of identity. Coming home from that three and a half month excursion, I had more of an idea of who I was and who I wanted to be. I may not have been sure of what I wanted, but I knew exactly what I didn’t want.

It doesn’t matter if you would drop everything for them…they won’t do the same.
