The Best Reactions to Netflix Cracking Down on Password Sharing

Netflix is finally cracking down on password sharing, and users are not happy with the new policies.
Netflix is cracking down on password sharing — forcing primary users to add subaccounts if they wish to continue sharing their access to the streaming platform with those outside their household. The catch: you can only add one with a basic subscription and two with a premium one, and they cost an additional $7.99 / month! Let’s just say this seems like the most consumer-aggravating way to squeeze extra money out of users — in a last-ditch effort to improve profit margins. And well…Netflix subscribers aren’t happy. Some are even bidding the streaming giant a bitter farewell.
Did you think through all scenarios, Netflix?
Ahhh. Its finally happening in the US. @netflix is cracking down on Password sharing. Time to #CancelNetflix. This is stupid btw cause I'm in a hospital and not at home with my family that I share Netflix with. pic.twitter.com/LEJRYYpDGo

Can someone or @netflix explain how this new policy works when one partner travels outside of the home? When families go to vacation homes? When children go away to grandparents houses for the summer?
Did anyone think this through it all?https://t.co/fyHezGQtjG

That’s it. We’re through.
Later, @netflix! I'm not paying your $8 ransom for password sharing. You could have handled this so much better. It was a fun 10 years, but I'm done. It's not me, it's you.#netflixpassword pic.twitter.com/PRyhgePjxJ
