You secretly despise it when a roommate describes your living space as “dirty.” It’s not dirty; it’s cluttered aka a bunch of clean stuff piled on top of other clean stuff.

The Dance Dance Revolution phase that all of your friends went through meant that you “had a cold and couldn’t hang out” for a solid two years.

Sometimes one of you gets a little too worked up about something, but the other is always there to calm you down.

You’ll start with the clichés. Wine, chocolate, ice cream, a funny (but not romantic) movie. You’ll let her talk if she wants, or sit in silence if that’s what she prefers. You’ll leave when she asks.

Sometimes you get super overexcited about the possibility of a relationship, and lose sight on reality for a bit.

When "Mean Girls" perfectly summed up what it's like trying to talk to your crush, and we all cringed.

When they’re upset, they don’t shut you out.

Singing-a-long at the top of your lungs.

What they’re trying to tell you: “I’m sobbing on the inside. SOBBING.” What they say: “That’s so sad”

You could literally give them a sock, and they would be completely overcome with how sweet and romantic that is.

“Wait. You haven’t seen Memento?? How can you even call yourself a film major?”
