We somehow convince ourselves that we’ve changed the world and ended the needless suffering because we’ve shared a video. We go to sleep each night on our oversized beds thinking that we’ve made the world a better place. And we believe this because it is easy to believe.

What I didn’t realize was subconsciously I was looking around for the approval of others. This approval gave me a sense of mattering and mattering fulfilled my desire to be better.

Gone are the days that you can go home, shut your door, close your curtains and keep up your appearance as the neighbor nobody likes. Dirty laundry is aired, well, like dirty laundry. The underwear with the embarrassing brown streak is out there for the world to see and I promise, the world is watching.

An entrepreneur knows that every opportunity where something did not go as planned is an opportunity to learn. Learning is not an excuse, it’s a privilege.
