You have no idea how hard it is to look at the good times.

Being intentional with your time means you are consciously thinking of how many hours are in every day and making deliberate choices on who you are spending them with and what you are doing.

I am not going to let you all the way in. I don’t know how to.

It’s okay to leave someone behind. It’s okay if your natural instinct is to fly, to flee. But don’t leave without fighting first.

It’s not endearing or romantic to depend solely on someone else. Just as it isn’t a testament to your strength if you force yourself to be alone by denying your emotions. You have to find a balance.

You are the kind of reckless they warn young girls about.
The kind of reckless that entices me every time.

You felt like home, and when we were done we talked about home. A home I no longer feel connected to but being with you brought me back.

Maybe you will never be satisfied with what you have and life will always disappoint you. Maybe you will always waste your goodness and choose to brood in the misfortunes of your life.

I understand beauty and loyalty because of him and if he leaves me I’m sure that every good thing I understand would become a mystery again.

Unconditional acceptance isn’t something that comes along often. Finding someone who decides you are enough not only at your best but at your worst is one of the most satisfying moments you can have.

Fear is not weakness, or at least it doesn’t have to be. It’s just a part of existing.

A beautiful life is all about risks and passion and deep, uncontrollable love. I didn’t feel any of those things when I looked at him and I know he felt the same way.
