I were to hypothetically go against everything I just said and make a list of Things You Need To Know Before You Read Another Article Telling You About The Things You Need To Know, then this is what I would say. Hypothetically.

In honor of realizing how vapid and sometimes self-absorbed I can be, and being the source of my own problems and never the solution, I give you these 10 things.

The transition into adulthood isn’t formulaic, but I’ve tried my damnedest to prescribe the right steps to get me there, and maybe imparting them to you may save some poor soul who, like me, still hasn’t gotten her sh*t together.

My bank accounts were empty, my motivation was thwarted, and the dream I had held onto for so long had been unmasked and revealed for what it really was: Just a game of luck. And I refused to be the joker.
