Life, as I’ve learned, is a bag full of tricks. And, while there are so many opportunities presented to us each day, it is way too easy to fall into a pattern or routine and experience tunnel vision.

1. It will forever be a part of who you are.

I need to make more of a public announcement so that it is extremely clear where I am coming from, and what I am looking for, so that this world can get it right.

There’s just something about the beginning of each day that gets me really excited about what’s to come.

Experiencing new places and seeing new things.

Thou shall remain humble. By nature, independent individuals get what we want by going after it. A lot of hard work goes in, and great things happen as a result.

I want someone who will send a random message that’s thoughtful and has no hidden agenda. One that was sent just because they were thinking of me.

The past few months have presented me with ample dating horror stories, which had me thinking a lot about where these guys get the idea that certain things are acceptable first date behavior.

I recently made the exciting-but-also-extremely-nerve-racking decision to pick up my life in Boston and move down to New York City, as I turned the page to a new life chapter.

3. Support.


At this point in my life, I’m considered an adult. Yes, maybe sometimes I don’t completely act like it, but that’s part of life, right? As I’m growing up, I realize just how much you did for me.

My blog recently celebrated its third birthday on the Tumblr platform, and in those three years, a whole lot has changed in my life – for better or for worse.
