A contentious COVID hearing came to a standstill when Anthony Fauci declined to answer any questions put to him, invoking his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.

The hearing followed a subpoena from Rand Paul, who released more than 1,000 pages of Fauci’s private pandemic diary and promised to put him “behind bars.”
