A Georgia Science Teacher Was Allegedly Recorded Having Sex with a Student in a “Jesus Loves You” Sweater, and Her Students Found Her Onlyfans and Used It to Blackmail Her for Better Grades
A Georgia high school science teacher is facing an expanding criminal case involving six teenage students, even as an unverified OnlyFans blackmail rumor trails the investigation online.

Maris Nichols, a 25-year-old teacher at Alexander High School in Douglas County, has been charged with multiple sex crimes involving students. Search warrants reviewed by local outlets describe an investigation that began on May 5, 2026, after school officials contacted the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office about videos found on a student’s phone.

What began as an inquiry involving one student quickly widened. Within weeks, investigators were looking into allegations involving six teenagers, including claims of sexual contact in a classroom closet, a parked Hummer, and other locations. One student allegedly recorded Nichols having sex while she wore a “Jesus Loves You” sweater, according to warrant materials cited in local reporting.

Nichols was initially arrested in connection with alleged sexual contact with a student. About two weeks later, authorities added 11 more charges, including child molestation, grooming, and evidence tampering. Investigators allege she pressured at least one student to delete messages, and warrants seek digital records, surveillance footage, genetic material, and fingerprints tied to specific students and locations.
The warrants also reference explicit videos and photos that Nichols allegedly sent to students, including some content involving her husband. In the expanded case, investigators also describe allegations involving a female student, including claims that Nichols showed her sexually explicit material, discussed sexual topics with her, and sent nude images.
The most viral claim around the case, however, remains less certain. WSB-TV reported that search warrants referenced allegations that students found Nichols’ OnlyFans account and used it to pressure her for better grades. But 11Alive, which also reviewed warrant materials, reported that investigators logged the OnlyFans account and blackmail-for-grades story as claims circulating on social media, not as confirmed findings. The warrants don’t establish that the account existed or that any extortion scheme actually happened.
That distinction matters. The verified case, as laid out so far, is already serious: a teacher accused of sexually abusing and grooming multiple students, with investigators seeking records from Snapchat, OnlyFans, AT&T, and other sources as they process evidence. The OnlyFans allegation may become part of the case, but for now it appears to sit in the murkier space between warrant leads, online rumor, and unproven claim.
Nichols had worked at Alexander High School for only a few years. She reportedly started around April 2023 as a football operations manager before moving into a biology teaching role. After the allegations surfaced, the school removed her from its website.
As of June 19, 2026, Nichols is out on roughly $74,000 bond. No pleas have been entered, and the investigation remains active. No verified leaks or eyewitness descriptions of any alleged OnlyFans content have surfaced in mainstream reporting. Much of the online discussion has instead centered on people trying to find the account and speculating about whether the blackmail claims are real.
