Though falling in love, sometimes, can feel a bit like acid reflux. Your chest will begin to burn and it’ll suddenly become quite difficult to swallow.

At first, your mind will work in overtime just trying to forget the mere memory of that person’s existence.

As if I don’t have a full-time job, a perpetual list of errands to run, and an overwhelming desire to spend my free time taking naps and watching Breaking Bad.

Take your stack of worn-out, tear-stained, dating advice books and throw them out. Toss them in the recycling bin, use them as coasters on your living room table, glue them on top of each other and make them into a sturdy step stool.

The nail-biting crunch time between applying for a job and waiting to hear back is enough to make you take just one bite out of your mozzarella and tomato Panini from Panera before you start to feel queasy and overcome with a case of the anxiety shakes.

DATING IS AWKWARD.

Every minute in America, at least 5 of your Facebook friends are getting engaged (give or take).

Note to self: I should have added at the top of my Bachelor commandments thou shall try really, really, hard to not say exactly what I’m thinking out loud.
