except when it’s 11:33 PM
and I’ve had a moment where I realize
I’m holding space for you.

When we pay attention to how people give and receive love, it allows us to make the people around us feel truly loved and seen, and cared about.

These emotions are visitors to the vessel that I am, and I love them, and feel them.

But men who hunt trophies don’t care about the prize — they just want another one on the wall.

I am ready to be adored and adorned — loved so deeply and wisely that I could not have possibly dreamed it.

Some soulmates are not here for a lifetime, they are here for a season or a reason.

How can we be in peace when we feel a need to care for everybody in our radius? It’s exhausting.

Our internal world always mirrors our external world. We are essentially walking around vomiting our unconscious shit on other people and then getting mad at them.

Fuck bro rates. Quit working for free.

I haven’t felt as safe in another’s arms in my entire life. It was as if your body was born to hold me.

You don’t need to write some fucking self help book with the intention it’s going to save people, or become Tony Robbins or go build 12 schools in Colombia (or do) to save our planet—you want to save our planet? Live your god damn truth.

God damn I hope you do miss the people you’ve loved sometimes — it means they mattered. It means they left foot prints in your heart that weren’t able to be washed away.

So I guess if they run into the night, I can smack their ass on the way out, and find a man who likes to be chosen — who likes to be pursued right back.

The man I wish to wake up beside will not play games with me, for he knows there is freedom in being chosen. He will speak highly of the women who have broken his heart, for they are the love stories that allow space for this one.

I want to be chased with the intention of being kept.

Why do we choose to spend time with people we aren’t crazy about?

All you have to lose, in going after your dreams and starting your business, is the life you don’t want, and the minuscule risk that if it doesn’t take, you check your ego and your pride and get a crutch job to support you while you build your business or start again.

I have an issue with the constitution of marriage. I have an issue with the “forever” part of it.
