Robert Downey, Jr. Posts Heartwarming Instagram For 7-Year-Old With Cystic Fibrosis

Daniel is a seven-year-old boy who’s life is considerably complicated by the presence of cystic fibrosis, a lifelong genetic disorder that effects the lungs.

Daniel had a rough week in-and-out of the hospital, which was made worse by a peer telling him that everyone with cystic fibrosis dies from it. His mom brainstormed some ideas to help cheer him up, and decided to try to get the attention of Robert Downey, Jr, the actor who plays Daniel’s hero: Iron Man.
