She shouldn’t have to fight for you. You should hand over your heart willingly. You should put in effort without being asked. You should treat her with kindness without her convincing. 

Sometimes you are supposed to grow without each other before you can grow as a team. 

After a certain amount of time passed, trying to impress you stopped feeling romantic and started feeling pathetic. 

I never want to come on too strong, so I never let anyone know how much their friendship means to me and we eventually start drifting apart. 

He wants you in his world — but only halfway. Only enough so that he doesn’t feel trapped. Only enough so that he stays comfortable. 

She only comes across as clingy because she cares about you more than she cares about most people.

You would never sacrifice your dreams, your happiness, or your sanity in order to stay in a relationship. You realize there are certain things that matter more than love.
