Sometimes people mistake being single as being lonely.

Who would have thought that a forced self-quarantine is what it takes for me to pick up my camera once again, not for work, but solely for art?

When I decided to consume less and less of the internet, I realized I could do a lot more things with this life.

When things bend, it’s easy to leave them behind and find something new instead of going through the hassle of fixing them without the guarantee of bringing them back to their original form.

When I tell you I love you, it’s not only during the days when we can feel it. It’s not only when we are happy. 

I learned to hold your hand tighter when it’s just easier to let go.

And there will be days where you just need to be alone and heal your own.

There are times that I still can’t believe you are here and we finally made us happen.

In starting over, you get to find the reasons why things have to end. You get to find the good in goodbyes, the blessings in endings, and the wonders in getting lost.

Maybe if you stayed true to your words, I would say you were worthy…but you are not.

The way it happened was not abrupt. It killed both of us slowly for more than a month until we finally reached the end.

You do not show up every night, but when you do, you always leave a pang of sadness and happiness at the same time.
