For The Girls Who Feel Like Ghosts

Luke Gottlieb
Luke Gottlieb

You are not invisible.
Sometimes we are not
what people want to see,
and so they tell themselves,
quite simply,
they never saw.
There was just some
frightening sound in the walls.
There was just
a dead girl crawling into
their bed, calling their name.
There was just
a haunting shaped similar
to a human shaped thing
they once knew
by the sounds they made
when they cried. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
