Zayn Malik Says He Never Loved Gigi Hadid, Despite Literally Writing Love Songs About Her

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik dated from 2015-2021, during which they had a daughter together. There’s not really any reason to dig up dirt on your relationship from 5 years ago but as a guest on Alex Cooper’s Call Me Daddy podcast, Zayn did anyway.

After sharing his thoughts on “females” in general, Zayn, for some reason, brought up that he never loved Gigi:

“At that moment in time, I might have thought it was love, but as I got older, I realized maybe it wasn’t. Maybe it was lust. Maybe it was this, maybe it was that. I don’t feel like it was love.”

“To be fair, just to have this on the record, I will always love G, because she is the reason my child is on this earth. I have the utmost respect for her, and I will always love her … but I don’t know if I was ever in love with her.”

Zayn wrote several love songs about Gigi and even has her eyes tattooed on his chest.
