We want company, we want support, we want good morning texts, we want unexpected phone calls, we want plans to be made and dinners for two, and maybe we want love if we ever know what that word means at all.

The sex was good, the cuddle was good, the snoring was not very good but was made up for by the fact that he would hold her all night in her sleep, which she liked.

As I think hard about what I really want to do with my life. I realize that this is life. This is being alive. This is the point of this pointless journey. I don’t know what will happen next but I know you now and I know me now.

I have been that girl who made mistakes after mistakes, got myself humiliated, ashamed, heartbroken, and subsequently ruined my chances at happiness.

Smile whenever you can. Take it easy. Laugh. Make fun of yourself and enjoy every minute of this wonderful life. You will feel so much more positive, energized and even inspired.

You see your body through the eyes of those Instagram fitness girls, of Victoria’s Secret models, of movie stars, of all the boys you have been in love with and all the people who don’t matter to you.
