Always being the person who initiates everything.

It hurts to realize that not only are you not needed by someone who you so desperately need, but that you’re not wanted, either. And all we ever really want is to be wanted.

The humility to admit when they were the one who screwed up, and enough love for you to give you the apology you deserve with absolutely zero strings attached.

Just because she runs around in sweats and spandex all the time doesn’t mean she doesn’t like an excuse to get dressed up every once in a while.

Go to a museum, see a band or a sports game live, or watch a play or a musical. Experience culture without the help of an illuminated screen.

They’re more ready to do something for you than they will ask something from you.

Make memories. Laugh until you cry. Make lame jokes and witty jokes, sarcastic one-liners and corny comments that make people look at you sideways. Laugh anyway. Laugh despite their looks. Laugh in spite of them.

Some Saturdays you want to spend going out until 4 am, belting out the lyrics to ‘Closing Time’ with the rest of the bar, but the rest of the weekend, it’s not unheard of if you don’t even leave your apartment.

In either instance, be it in their professional or personal lives, the victims of the leak were acting of their own agency. And this in itself is infuriating to the people who think that they shouldn’t.

Seasons are arbitrary, anyway. The best clothes are the ones that transcend style eras.
