Okay, so Justin Bieber wasn’t directly involved in saving this man’s life, but it was his song that did.

A hungry brown bear mauled the fisherman and began to claw at him, when the man’s phone went off.

The song frightened the bear, which then fled and scrambled back into the forest.

According to wildlife experts, it was Bieber’s song that stopped the bear from killing the man. Apparently loud, unexpected noises can frighten the massive creatures. Who knew?

But the question remains: Why was this man’s ringtone “Baby”?
