A 46-year-old woman asked to purchase meth from an off-duty police officer.

Heather Rodriguez, of Provo, Utah, was arrested for suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and attempted distribution.

She admitted to police officers that arrived at the scene that she was trying to buy meth.

Reports state that Rodriguez was buying meth for her sister as a birthday present.

Before her arrest, Rodriguez showed the off-duty officer a meth pipe, which she intended to use at her sister’s birthday.

After her arrest, she said that she was holding the pipe for a friend.
