Man Kidnapped 7-Year-Boy And Stole His Eyes. The Boy Begs For His Vision Back.

In 2012, a 7-year-old boy was reported missing by his grandmother after she returned from gathering firewood for the evening. She raised an alarm and a search party was formed.

The boy, Augustine Bello of Matari village in Nigeria was found the next morning in a secluded area of the woods. His face and body was covered in blood. The police was called and Bello was presumed to be dead — until he was physically picked up by a policeman, who found the young boy to be breathing.

After the boy regained consciousness, he said their next-door neighbor, Muhammad took him and carried him into the forest, where the man plunged a knife into the boy’s stomach. When the boy blacked out, the man then “plucked out” his eyes.

Muhammad was arrested shortly and confessed that he was hired by a man named Idris.

When interrogated by the police, Idris denied any wrongdoing, explaining that it was Muhammad who hatched the plan and that he — Idris — was not present when the crime happened. The police charged Idris with withholding information.

Augustine Bello now asks for his eyes, and his vision back, so that he can see the world like he once used to.
