The police are on their way. When I got out to the kitchen no one was there, but wet footprints covered the kitchen floor. The front door was open, which was locked. Then I saw what was on my table… A water snake chopped to pieces laid out in a “crib” made of seaweed. I’m so fucking stressed.

Well, the police were no help. Officer Yeon wasn’t there, they only took my statement and “looked” for anyone in my house and the small patch of woods out back. Nothing came of it. Before the police left, an older officer named Malcolm asked me how long has my family lived in this house.

I explained to him that my camp was actually my great grandmother’s house back in the 40s. He chuckled and told me to just call Officer Yeon once she got into the station. I’m going to bed.
