By the end of the talk, it’s apparent that one of the women, in the heat of the moment, decides she’s had enough of talking about Michael Sam and the now-infamous kiss on ESPN, that she calls it quits. She fails to defend her argument, which is basically, “I don’t want to see two people kissing on camera, even if it’s between husband and wife.” This woman comes off as a bigot who is unable to argue her points, and her leaving the set really drives the nail into the coffin. I feel really bad for the moderator — she tried her best to keep the segment on its foundation.
Here’s the ESPN segment from draft day if you haven’t seen it already.
