Wells’ Instagram page is is filled with pictures of dogs. Is there anything better than pictures of cute guys with cute dogs? He’s a huge dog-lover and often volunteers at animal shelters in his town. ~swoon~

We don’t like to admit that our perceptions of the world aren’t perceptions at all; rather, they’re reflections of ourselves. Our eyes are not telescopes; we want to believe that we can see every last detail, every blade of grass, every breath – but, in fact, we do not.

We die a little inside when people say, “But you don’t need makeup – you’re already beautiful!”

If you take a look at a map of New York, you’ll notice right away that it is GINORMOUS. The towns that are actually considered to be upstate would probably take no less than 5 hours to drive to from the towns located in and around the Hudson Valley. Can we just settle this once and for all? Not everything north of NYC is upstate.

Recovery exists in present tense only. Recovering, not recovered. Even if she doesn’t exhibit behaviors, and even if she never restricts her caloric intake again, it will always be present tense.

The girl who journals is someone who is accepting of life’s highs and lows. She finds words to capture the spectrum of human emotion. She dances with vivacious adjectives for her happiest days, and embraces cold words for her loneliest nights.

It’s almost inevitable that our minds and hearts will yearn for the unknown void ahead, that we will grow bored with our present and look to the future for something better.

Your phone is probably by your side all the time, even when you’re in the bathroom, so no, it didn’t take you 7 hours to “see” a text.

We watched “The OC” because it made us laugh, and it made us cry. But most importantly, it made us think about our own relationships – with our friends, our significant others, and with our parents.
