He had a fascination with finding beautiful objects, like vintage cars, pulling them apart and putting them back together. I never understood his desire to fix things that weren’t broken but it gave him great satisfaction. I think that’s how he saw me – as something beautiful and intriguing that he wanted to play with only after he pulled me apart he became bored and never put me back together.
