What I’m really trying to say is that sometimes the best thing to do is to just simply go with the flow. Trust the timing of your life and appreciate every encounter you randomly have along the way.

You need to work together.

Sometimes I wonder what my life would have been like if I had stayed. I wonder if things would have worked out eventually, if I didn’t force myself to run away when they didn’t.

Sometimes at night you’ll reminisce on what your life once was. You’ll inevitably think of the people who who you loved, and those who couldn’t love you back.

I think too often we stand in our own way, by learning to exist rather than live.

It doesn’t have to come in the form of showering your partner with presents. In fact, it’s the opposite. Money isn’t appreciation, it’s a payoff for their affection. That’s not love.

The world out there has far more to offer you than just the one person who broke your heart, the job you got laid off from, or the friendships that have disappeared. Take a step outside and start a new relationship with yourself.

Be honest with yourself. Are you happy? Is this where you want to be? Is this who you want to be with? Will you regret things in the future if you don’t make a change now?

Living a life by yourself, for yourself is pretty badass, isn’t it?

At the end of the day, it is your choice to stay in a relationship where someone disrespects you.

Letting someone get the chance to know you so deeply takes courage and strength, mainly because you know that by doing so, you’re giving someone else the ability to completely break your heart one day, should they decide to, but at the same time trusting them not to.
