Here’s The Viral Twitter Rant From A Black Guy Who Was Asked To Give His Class Seat To A White Dude

Twitter rants are literally the best. Multiple 140 character tweets filled with drama, intrigue, and humor.

This rant by @YallJust_myfans has blown up overnight. He was in an overbooked class where there was one more student than chair. He was sitting a table with a group of friends, when their last friend (and the last person to get to class) arrived. They asked @YallJust_myfans to give up his seat, and he wasn’t about to.

Despite everything, @YallJust_myfans is just focusing on his classes and academics:

Y'all it's still school..like I did say I need an "A" in this class..there's a reason I tweeted hours AFTER the class and not during.

Some people have criticized him, saying that it was needlessly made about race. In a comment, Tonen said:

Guy complains about stereotyping or some nonsense and then proceeds to stereotype. He seems like a dick and they’re equally idiotic.

And some people are equally critical of all parties involved in the situation. Sonof said:

Yep. OP was right but still a dick. They just asked. He said no and made a big deal out of it. Then they made a big deal. Waste of time.

And a lot of other people are wondering why the group of friends didn’t just grab an extra chair from another classroom in the building. (Seriously, why didn’t they?)
