Taylor Frankie Paul Wants Fans to Sign a Petition to Release Her Season of The Bachelorette
Taylor Frankie Paul’s fans aren’t ready to let her season of The Bachelorette disappear without a fight.
A fan-created petition urging ABC to release the shelved season has gained more than 16,000 signatures, and Paul herself has publicly thrown her support behind the effort. The reality star shared the petition on Instagram, thanking the fans who organized it and revealing that she had signed it herself.

The petition argues that viewers who have followed Paul for years deserve the opportunity to watch her journey and make their own judgments about her. Supporters say shelving the season doesn’t resolve the controversy surrounding Paul—it simply prevents her from telling her story on a platform she had already earned.
Paul also shared the petition’s full letter, which makes the case that fans have invested years in following her life and believe they should be allowed to see the completed season for themselves.

ABC has yet to reverse its decision to keep the season off the air. The network pulled the season after footage surfaced showing Paul throwing a barstool at her then-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen during an altercation. The incident occurred while one of Paul’s children was present, and the video prompted widespread backlash.
The fallout has continued well beyond the canceled season. Paul has been involved in custody proceedings involving Mortensen and her former husband, Tate Paul. According to the source, production had originally been expected to resume with an airing in July, but that did not happen.

Meanwhile, Utah’s Department of Children and Family Services has asked a juvenile court to determine whether Paul’s three children are “abused, neglected or dependent,” adding another serious layer to the controversy surrounding the reality star.
For now, the petition represents a push from fans who believe the completed season should ultimately be made available. Whether thousands of signatures will be enough to change ABC’s decision remains to be seen—but Paul’s supporters clearly aren’t ready to stop asking.
