This Is How I Ruined Potential Relationships (Without Even Realizing It)

We spend so much energy trying to make something work, rather than realizing the opportunities that are right in front of us.

The harsh truth I have come to face is that I have had opportunities to be happy, but failed to grab hold of them.

I have never talked about this before. I’m honestly not sure why, I’m not even sure if I realized what I was doing until recently.

Stop chasing people.

That is what I learned. Stop chasing something that is gone.

If someone breaks up with you, if someone blocks your number or drifts away from you, let them go.

We end up chasing these relationships that are no longer ours. These ideas that there is hope, that there is potential for things to work out if we try harder or look better.

We spend so much energy trying to make something work, rather than realizing the opportunities that are right in front of us.

I am guilty of this. I am guilty of chasing this dream of making something work with someone who I was once so happy with, but since have drifted far apart.

I don’t know if it is that I don’t like for things to end on a bad note, or if it is that I am afraid of change or afraid of the unknown.

I don’t know why I have let myself loose so many people because I am clinging to the past, to something that isn’t mine anymore.

Let them go

Sometimes things just are not meant to be; sometimes it really is just that simple.

Let people into your life. Pay attention to the people who are trying to be apart of your life and welcome them with open arms.

You will meet a lot of people in your life that are genuinely interested in you, that genuinely care about you. Don’t miss out on them because you are stuck on someone who is no longer a part of your life.

Stop spending so much time clinging to the people who have left you and start to cherish those who want to talk to you, who want to be in your life, who want to see you happy.

Spend time with people who want to spend time with you. Don’t chase for anyone’s attention, because you may miss the people who actually want you in their lives. TC mark
