11-Year-Old Bullied For “Gay Tendencies” Brings Butcher Knife To School
The knife was eight inches long, so big that classmates noticed it sticking out of his binder.
Reports are coming in of a police investigation into the circumstances that led a fifth-grader at Inwood Elementary in Winter Haven, FL to sneak a butcher knife into school. An ABC Action News reporter says the family of the boy claim he was bullied, with his grandmother saying it was due to his “gay tendencies.”
School administration are denying the family’s claim that they did nothing when told about the bullying.

The boy is currently being held at a juvenile assessment center in Polk County.
