I gaze at the mirror to inspect my double chin and puffy cheeks. I imagine the conversations the people in my life have about me behind my back about how I’ve put on a few. I scroll through old Facebook photos of when I was skinnier.

There are Beautiful Girls and there are Not So Beautiful Girls. I am not the former.

We are not created equal.

4. A guy I’d gone on several dates with stopped contacting me after going to my birthday party. Five days later, I text a “?” and eventually, “Is this over?” To which he replied, “I guess so since you seem upset.”

I’d give everything away to be with someone, allow myself to be taken advantage of, because I haven’t figured out how just being close to someone isn’t enough.

It turns out the worst part of being on television and given the title of The Worst Dater in Illinois is that it might be true.
