Chris Briney has taken the Internet by storm thanks to The Summer I Turned Pretty and his role as Conrad Fisher, the beautiful, misunderstood sad boy. Fans are eager to see what he does next—including the Summer I Turned Pretty movie—but did you know that he had already starred in a movie by the time…

The Summer I Turned Pretty has officially ended its third and final season, and it’s making a huge splash online already. The season offered a whole lot of drama (and gave us a new internet boyfriend to root for), but at its core, the show kept us hooked with one single question: Who is Belly…

If you’re still thinking about The Summer I Turned Pretty, you aren’t alone. Plenty of fans have found themselves feeling lost without the show, rewatching past episodes in an effort to fill the gap of excitement and anticipation that each new episode would bring. But there’s plenty of existing content that can help you fill…

The Dawson’s Creek cast is reuniting this evening to read the 1998 pilot for charity—but the titular character Dawson himself, played by James Van Der Beek, won’t be making it to this class reunion. Van Der Beek, who was diagnosed with colon cancer back in 2023, posted on Instagram to let his fans know that…

The Summer I Turned Pretty may officially be over—well, the show at least, because we’re going to be getting a movie—but that doesn’t mean we have to stop digging deep into the content we’ve already been given. In fact, the finale is rich with new symbolism and metaphors that will make fans gasp and want…

In honor of the Summer I Turned Pretty movie and the finale, here are some of my favorite lessons from the show.  Sometimes a relationship’s hardships aren’t actually about the relationship—so approach them with empathy and understanding. Throughout the show, Conrad struggles with his feelings for Belly while coping with a kind of grief he…

People have a lot to say about Prime Video’s The Summer I Turned Pretty, especially surrounding the love triangle—and even more especially about the internet’s newest boyfriend, Conrad Fisher. Conrad is best known for being beautiful, selfless, and just a little bit pathetic (in the name of love!), and like all great romantic heroes, he’s…

It’s official: A The Summer I Turned Pretty movie is on the horizon. Fans have rejoiced, partially because we didn’t get nearly enough time with Conrad and Belly together (and also Conrad not being depressed), but also because we’ve missed some key parts of the story—some of which are bound to show up in the…

This week is BIG for the Conrad girlies. The Summer I Turned Pretty hero quadrupled his fan base during the third and final season of the show, in big part thanks to actor Chris Briney for making his character vulnerable, pining, and okay, yeah, hot. There’s no reason to mince words about it: Chris Briney’s…

The Summer I Turned Pretty may officially be over, but it’s hard to believe that its impact won’t last at least a little longer. After all, Conrad and Belly’s love story has made a place in people’s hearts, and just because there won’t be a new episode next Wednesday doesn’t mean it’ll be easy for…

The encore is happening. The Summer I Turned Pretty is being turned into a movie. Prime Video has greenlit The Summer I Turned Pretty feature film to conclude the story, with creator Jenny Han writing and directing her first feature film. After much fanfare, and theories, it’s now 100% confirmed, according to reporting from TheWrap,…

UPDATE: A MOVIE IS CONFIRMED. Read the full details here. Today, we said our final goodbyes to The Summer I Turned Pretty—or did we? Almost immediately after today’s episode dropped, fans began to speculate that this might not be the end of the road for our favorite characters. First of all, let’s talk about that…

Jenny Han, author and creator of the Summer I Turned Pretty franchise, is clearly a cinephile in her own right. Her work often contains references to movies that are decades older than her characters (and, more than likely, her audience), giving her storylines layers that only movie lovers will fully understand. Because if you are…

Are you Team Conrad? Team Jeremiah? Or are you, as actress Lola Tung claims to be, Team Belly? The position you take can say a lot about who you are—a romantic, a pragmatist, a bandwagoner—and it can also tell you if you’re very, very bad at media literacy. Because, believe it or not, there’s actually…

If my social media newsfeeds have anything to say, it’s this: we are all Team Conrad, and Taylor Swift is cooking up something big for fans as she prepares to announce her next album. This morning, at 12:12 a.m. EST, Travis and Jason Kelce released a clip of an upcoming episode of their podcast New…

We’re not even halfway through this third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, but fans are watching closely, looking for clues that might point to who our protagonist Belly will end up with in the end. And knowing author and show creator Jenny Han (and her love for Taylor Swift, who’s known…

The Summer I Turned Pretty is back for it’s third and final season, and it’s making a huge splash online already. When the first few episodes dropped, viewers were immediately pulled into the drama (which includes cheating, a marriage proposal, and, most importantly, a love triangle including brothers), but there’s really only one question on…
