Brendon Urie, The ‘Panic! At This Disco’ Singer Of Your Dreams, Just Came Out As Pansexual

While he's made his name as the singer (and basically only member now) of Panic! at the Disco, he's also become a well-known Gay Icon, especially after LGBTQ+ coming of age movies such as Love, Simon and Alex Strangelove both attributed Urie as as integral in their characters' sexual awakenings.

Oh, Brendon Urie, how I love you so. I’ve been a dedicated fan since I was 12, and I’m hardly the only one. While he’s made his name as the singer (and basically only member now) of Panic! at the Disco, he’s also become a well-known Gay Icon, especially after LGBTQ+ coming of age movies Love, Simon and Alex Strangelove both attributed Urie integral in their characters’ sexual awakenings.

Well guess what? It must REALLY be twenty-gayteen, because Urie just came out as pansexual and made all our dreams come true. In an interview with Paper, after the musician was asked about how he felt about the “Thank You Brendon Urie” Instagram account, where people expressed gratitude to him for helping them embrace their queerness, Urie said, “No. I’m married to a woman and I’m very much in love with her but I’m not opposed to a man because to me, I like a person.”

He later clarified, “I guess you could qualify me as pansexual because I really don’t care. If a person is great, then a person is great […] I guess this is me coming out as pansexual.”

I’m not sure about you, but I sure stan a pansexual king. Keep on keeping on, Brendon Urie. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
