Okay, this drama is unreal.

Remember when Nicki Minaj tweeted about getting into a fight when she was at a slumber party when she was 11? If not, I’m not surprised — the tweet is all the way back from the beginning of 2012, which honestly feels like decades away from today. But here’s a quick reminder in case you forgot:

Celebs: they’re just like you, am I right?

Anyway, I’m not here to unbury the past, though that’s mostly because someone else already did it for me. Enter Dameka Williams, the woman Minaj tweeted about beating up during her childhood:

I… have to let this sink in for a minute. Did she say a fork????

It just gets juicier tbh.

To be fair, it was probably a pretty traumatic experience for a kid. I’m not here to advocate for violence, and I know situations like that can put you in a bad mental space. Apparently, she still finds the whole thing pretty haunting.

But just remember, Dameka: this tweet was literally from 2012. That was, like, what? Five years ago? Almost everyone had forgotten about it until you brought it up again and outed yourself as the woman Minaj beat up. You can’t honestly say this is Nicki’s fault at this point.

Also, this is the Internet. If you can’t take the heat, stay out of the kitchen, and if you can’t stand people DMing you random pictures of forks, don’t tweet about being stabbed by one by the queen of rap.

Oh, Twitter. How I love you and loathe you. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
