We haven’t heard much from Kim Kardashian since the terrifying Paris robbery that happened in October 2016, but she’s finally come forward to talk about the incident in most recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. And, somehow, it’s actually more chilling than we expected.

Kim admitted that when the robbers broke into her room while she was wearing nothing but a robe, she thought she was going to be raped. In fact, she mentally prepared for it.

“He grabs my legs, and I wasn’t, you know, I had no clothes on under,” Kim said. “He pulled me toward him at the front of the bed and I thought, ‘Okay, this is the moment they’re going to rape me,’” Kim said.

Instead, the robbers duct-taped her legs and held a gun to her head, leading her to believe they would simply murder her instead. But while she was waiting to die, she wasn’t thinking of herself.

“I just prayed that Kourtney’s going to have a normal life after she sees my dead body on the bed…like, I’m not going to make it out of here. I know how these things go.”

Luckily, Kim made it out of the situation OK, but she was certainly traumatized by the event. She tweeted before the episode aired to explain to her fans why she believed it was important for her to talk about it on her show.

She also gave a shout out to the people who supported her and helped her through the ordeal.

Say what you want about Kim Kardashian, but no one deserves to go through something like that. Thankfully, she made it out OK and seems to be on the road to recovery. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
