Amy Schumer Made This Defiant Instagram Post Blaming Alt Right Trolls For ‘Sabotaging’ Her
Apparently the trolls don't have much else to do with their lives, because they spent the past few weeks giving Shumer's new hour-long stand-up special bad reviews on Netflix.
The alt-right strikes again — and this time, its target is female comedian Amy Schumer. At least, that’s what Schumer believes.
Apparently the trolls don’t have much else to do with their lives, because they spent the past few weeks giving Shumer’s new hour-long stand-up special bad reviews on Netflix. They left the show with a total one-star rating and plenty of misogynistic messages for the comedian.
As we all know, Schumer isn’t one to stay quiet, and quickly took to Instagram to address the issue.
Schumer wrote:
They organize to get my ratings down. Meeting in sub Reddit rooms. They tried on my book and movies and tv show And I want to thank them. It makes me feel so powerful and dangerous and brave. It reminds me what I’m saying is effective and bring more interest to my work and their obsession with me keeps me going.
She also criticized the media for jumping to conclusions that people weren’t happy with her special.
However, some people argued that it wasn’t the alt-right trolls who were to blame for the low ratings — instead, they suggested that maybe Schumer just wasn’t funny.

Maybe we’ll never know exactly what happened with those ratings, but I wouldn’t put it past alt-right trolls for at least some of the hate. Though Schumer’s public image might not be the cleanest at the moment, there are few things alt-right trolls hate more than confident women in the spotlight.
