No more lofty goals like “Exercise more” or “Become a better person.” I’m talking brass-tacks, stripped down to the core stuff that is dumbed down so much you can’t help but meet them.

Let me start off by saying that historically, I have been known to put up with a lot in my quest to find true love (e.g. drug addiction, antagonism towards my world views, hatred of fast food).

Yesterday I realized that I have like no friends. I put the ‘like’ in there because of course I have some friends. I’m not a complete hermit. However, the majority of my close friends are either more than 2 hours away or in a completely different stage of life than me.

You put up with it because she makes you feel more alive than you’ve ever felt.

4. Guys who DON’T need a drink to carry a conversation.
